Overseeing and assisting the Pritzker Director in the development and implementation of the institute's scientific program are internal and external advisory boards.
Internal Advisory Board
Chaired by University Provost Thomas F. Rosenbaum, the Internal Advisory Board also includes:

- Kenneth S. Polonsky, Dean, Division of the Biological Sciences; Dean, Pritzker School of Medicine; Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs; Professor of Medicine

External Advisory Board
External advice and assistance is provided by the external External Advisory Board, chaired by Robert Langer, the David H. Koch Institute Professor at MIT. Additional members of the board are drawn from academic institutions, government laboratories, and the private sector.
